David Lundbohm ligger kvar på lasarettet i Växjö för ytterligare undersökning, rapporterna därifrån är dock positiva och prognoserna pekar åt rätt håll.
David har återfått ytterligare seende på sitt skadade öga, läkarna bedömer det till att ca 65 % av synen är tillbaka. Området kring ögat är dock fortfarande så svullet att grundligare undersökningar har varit svåra att genomföra, i takt med att läkeprocessen fortskrider kommer dessa att göras. Lundbohm blir kvar på sjukhuset fram till helgen. Han är trots omständigheterna vid ganska gott humör, och eftersom han har tillgång till sin laptop kommer här en liten hälsning: Dear David Sometimes icehockey isn't important. We got very worried when we heard the first news from the hospital. Not only because we lost a great player and team mate, but most because of you. The latest news makes us a bit calmer, but in situations like this we don't care much about hockey. Your health is much more important. We really hope that you getting better soon. We do miss you, we do need you, but we know we can make it without you, it's just a little harder, but yes we can. From all of us: fight on David! /Växjö Lakers Hockey *Uppdatering* Efter att hälsningen ovan publicerade kom följande mailsvar från David: I would like to thanks the people of Vaxjo, the fans of the team, and the hospital staff. I feel very fortunate to be in the care of great hospital staff and doctors. They have done a good job with my eye. After the first visit with the doctor my eyesight has improved everyday. I am still in the hospital for a couple more days and will be recovering for a few weeks. My eye should make a full recovery depending on the next month or so.
